The first step to helping someone grow is understanding where they’re at and how they comprehend the game. Potential students undergo a Leader Evaluation to become a student at The Academy. The workout consists of fundamental drills, which helps determines skill level, whether the program is a good fit for their family, and if their family is a good fit for EMA. NOTE: Clinics acts as the Leader Evaluation.

* Interviews include a 60-minute workout, 15-minute discussion, and take place at multiple times and locations in San Francisco.

If your child continues with The Academy after the Evaluation, you will be asked to purchase at least three "Individual Private" 1:1 sessions or three "Quad" small group sessions (you bring 2-4 siblings or friends) until we feel that your child is ready to go to the group classes that are much more high energy and fast paced. If for some reason you choose not to continue with our program after the evaluation, you will not be able to register with our program in the future.
